How to complete my setup?

How can i use a cdj 800 on one channel, and Traktor 2 on two channels on my A&H done 42?

I use a audio 2 sound card for traktor. and use two of the channels. But when i connect my cdj 800, or my turntable on one channel i only get sound from one of the speakers :S seems very strange!

Please help.

i try to understand your sentence:

so you plug the 2 cinch connectors from your CDJ800 into the line-in of an mixer-channel and get only a mono signal on the mixer-out?

Sounds like an defect cinch-cable to me ^^

its only one of the speakers playing when i use the channel where the cdj is connected.. and when i use the two channels connected to traktor, all is good! but the same thing happened when i connected a turntable I’ve got..

so there are 2 options in my opinion:

  • you use the same defect cinch-cable for your cdj800 as you use for your turntable.

  • you plug in the cdj800 in the same defect-mixer-channel as your turntable

switching the devices to other mixer-channels and try to switch the cable should bring you the needed information ;o)
