How to get the best sound quality useing Traktor?

Is there something I can do to get the highest sound quality while useing Traktor? (download some soft or changes in the settings)

In my mind the quality of the sound is predicated on the quality of everything in the chain. With a well structured set up you’ll get an amazing quality sound. As long as the computer can handle it, the interface can handle it, you (the DJ) knows how to EQ and control the sounds, and the tracks are up to snuff I don’t think there will be much you need to do.

Exactly . But what alot of people need to learn is louder doesn’t mean better .

I agree with you whole heartedly, darrell. Louder, in my mind, hits the “bad” side really quick.

EYENSEE: I use 320 mp3 usually. I try not to go lower, but my old rips sometimes are. It never sounds bad.

same here, 320’s for me. it just feels nice knowing the sound coming out is high quality. :]

Lol I just heard a certain promoter recently turned DJ playing some really low quality MP3’s at a club with one of the nicest soundsystems here in Philly a couple weeks ago and it was just horrible .

I always play 96kb cuz it saves space on my harddrive. :wink:

you should try 48 you’ll double the amount of available space and it sounds almost as good as my cassette decks .
