How to kill the EQ ?
Hi, i’m using traktor pro 2.5 with my traktor kontrol S4, and when i reduce all my low, med, hi nobs, there is still sound comming how to fix it?
(And also, it seems like modifying the bass does not affect the music how to fix that ?)
Traktor doesn’t have full kill EQ (unless you use the kill buttons in classic EQ mode).

The kill switch is in the actual software rather than on the console. I agree, a console kill switch would be nice as the kill in the software is not very easy to use.
and about the bass that doesn’t sound differentnt at any position ?

Does it happen on all decks and only with the bass knobs?
There is one kill channel for each of bass mid and treble.
Did the bass work correctly in the previous version of Traktor?
Does the knob mover in Traktor when you move the S4 knob? Have you switched the EQ types in Traktor preferences?
When i move a knob on my controller it moves on traktor. BUT even if the bass knob is responsive, i can’t HEAR any differrence, wether it’s at +100% or -100%

No its not new. Well in the audio set up, the audio device is on “built in”
Oh but when i put the the audio device up on “traktor kontrol S4”, it works.
it’s only when i put it on "built in " that it doesn’t make any difference
One should always avoid to take the built-in notebook soundcard for live audio purposes and whenever it comes to aiming at high-quality audio.

Well, if it’s coming out of your lappy’s speakers don’t expect much bass response.

it’s the little circular button under each eq knob
