How to map LPD8 to the "Sample Deck"?

How to map LPD8 to the “Sample Deck”?

hello people of DJTT!
I have lurked around for a bit now and have found some VERY useful information on the S4, many thanks!

After using the S4 for a few live performances I feel I could utilize the “Sample Deck” better if I could control it with my LPD8. I have read a little bit about mapping my S4 but haven’t made any changes yet, now I have a reason to dig deeper into the mappings…

any help here?

I see this lil soundcloud hyper link some Im going to post my offical remix of Mochipet’s track Spacezilla, out next month on http://mallabelmusic.com/ enojy!

The mapping for the sample decks is really simple and straight forward. I only mapped mine to controll deck D:
top 4 pads load slots 1-4
bottom 4 pads play slots 1-4
bottom 4 knobs are volume for slots 1-4
top knob 1 is browses through the sample folder and the other 3 knobs are set up for Delay, Gator, and Reverb.

I fully dont understand how to do accomplish this…

In Serato you just hit the MIDI button, hit the pad and it worked, this is not working out so far for me…
I can see that Tracktor recognize the midi signal the LPD8 is sending.. I just dont know how to assign it to the sample deck d?

any more help/ideas?
I need the mapping for dummies guide!
