how would i sync this properly ?

Negative :disappointed: still ineffective

Alright, make sure that all of these things are accurate.

Set Deck B to Master, make sure your clock settings are Manual. Make sure Decks A and C are Sync’d.

As a test, with all three decks playing, move Deck B’s tempo. All other decks should move as well. If they don’t something is fundamentally wrong. If Sync is not fully lit up they are not Sync’d properly.

If their tempo faders DO move, then set your rig up. Does the Sync fall apart when you hit play on one, and Sync turns off or something? Does the BPM reset?

sync never stays lit, on hold, direct, or toggle. to any master …

Okay, there’s your problem.

Are you on TPro2?

tp1.2.7

What is the function you’re using in the Controller Manager? Is it Tempo Sync or just Sync? I can’t remember the options from the office.

save everything, delete traktor, reboot, reinstall ?

Sounds like the tracks aren’t gridded if sync won’t stay on.

just sync on toggle, ill tried most tempo options

what happens if you just try and turn on sync with the mouse? If it doesn’t work, your tracks must not be beatgridded.

Wait wait wait

Are your tracks gridded?

it jumps to the masters bpm, lights up for a millisecond. they are beatgridded but the original tempos are

130
119
140

its a wide range even when syncing all to 133.5 then building up. bc of the range, i cant even map duel tempo faders, still wont be accurate

Increase the tempo range in the preferences.

Are you SURE they’re properly beatgridded? with a beatmarker? not just a figure for BPM?

and do your tempo faders IN TRAKTOR have sufficient range to allow all the tracks to reach 140?

If they’re set to too low a range they won’t go far enough.

i am mush up based, every track i use has cue point 8 set as the beat grid, i turn the grid itself off, but they are all pointed. all my current pitch ranges are set to 50% and 30% sensitivity.

ive done this many times in the past, thus why im going crazy over a simple thing now.

( fine on pc, converted to mac now )

That’s not your pitch range, that’s your jog wheel control.

In your preferences there is a Pitch Range option. Set it to 50% and see if that helps.

can you make a video of the problem? or a series of screenshots or something? what happens when all decks are stopped and you click the sync button on one of them? and when does it deactivate?

cos if you have the right pitch range and your tracks are properly gridded I can’t think why the sync button wouldn’t work.

ah yes. Read that wrong lol.

OP, when you have this sync problem do your software pitch faders reach the end of their travel?

still no active sync, ill try regridding before a reboot. off to work guys, thank you for your time and effort !
