I can get a xone:4D for 1070$. Should I? (Rookie DJ)

I think it’s a REALLY dated piece of gear. Although it is quality I would go for something else if you are using it as a controller. If it’s such a good deal… buy it, resell it, make $$$ and buy what REALLY fits your needs.

Ok just want to check if I’m finally able to post here again… Since a week, none of my posts show up after submitting!

Edit: ok FINALLY works again. Been reading comments here but was unable to respond. Thank for all your opinions so far.

I have found a controller that I consider much better suited for me needs, the Pioneer DDJ-SX!
Actually I have truly fallen in love with this thing. Layout is so much more intuitive than on the 4D, and it contains an integrated standalone mixer! I also love the design and button UI it borrows from the CDJs. But the best thing is, this baby is about the same price as the 4D and it’s brand new.
It’s intended for Serato, but apparently the Viper mapping works perfectly fine with traktor.

Oh and those sweet sweet pads below the jogs… And yes, I have ordered one already
What I don’t get is why practically all recent controllers lack dedicated EQ Kill switches. My Hercules RMX has them and I find them super useful! Btw I play mostly deep hosue and techhouse

Oh and this:

Mind officially blown :open_mouth:hmy:

The XONE:4D is still, and probably will be for a REALLY long time, my favorite mixer.
You have my vote! Go for it, if you dont get it now you never will (thats what I always say).
