I can’t get the one button mashup mapping to work.
Im following the same instructions that I used when uploading the MF3D DeckGratMotion mapping.

Did you import the .mfs file in to Utility and have sent those settings to Midifighter?
Im using traktor software with an s4 controller. I started by importing the .mfs file to the midi fighter then importing the .tsi file into traktor, then I go under controller manager and add device and I import the same .tsi file as before then change the in and out ports to midi fighter 3d and thats it. Once I do that my s4 quits working and I close out of traktor and reopen it, once I do that my s4 works again, then I go change the settings under controller manager device to Preset Mods-Generic MIDI Fighter 3D(Mid…). The midi fighter lights up when certain buttons are pressed but it doesn’t effect the track playing, and I’ve tried importing the .tsi file into traktor twice like you guys suggest. I also searched on the forums and couldn’t find any info thats why I am emailing you guys. Thanks for your time.
Sorry to hear that. This mapping was created in 2.6.8 - make sure to run latest version of traktor so all commands in this mapping could be recognized. Also ensure to have latest firmware installed so you can correctly apply new midi fighter settings to the device.
Both my traktor and midi fighter software are up to date.
Nothing happens at all?? - that’s odd. So does other available 3D mappings work without issues on your controller?
I at least have the Midi Fighter working somewhat, its not working correctly for instance the 3rd bottom form the left top row is supposed to be a gater sweep and when I use it, it activates the flange, transport, and reverb. It seems the only thing thats working properly with this mapping is the filter roll, and the 4 beat build, everything else selects the wrong effects when pressed.
OK - so it’s just loading wrong effects. Ensure to import twice by using BIG IMPORT at the bottom of preferences window (this process loads correct fx settings) than add your S4 from the device menu Import.
Hope this helps.
I just realized I’m running version 2.6.0 in traktor not 2.6.8, my question is when i upgrade my Traktor do I loose all my saved cue points? thanks for all your help.
Ive upgraded my tractor software and Ive done everything you guys have told me to and it just won’t work. After Ive added the tsi file twice with the big import button what should it say under controller manager device? Mine says Traktor 2 Default Mapping - Generic Keyboard, and the other 2 options to choose are Control-Generic MIDI (None) and Preset Mods- Generic MIDI (None).
maybe a solution?
hey guys. been having issues with the one button mashup mapping also. I’ve got a Macbook running Yosemite, MF3D, Kontrol S2 Mk2, and everything up to date (Traktor software + MF software). I couldn’t get anything to work when I used the small import button for the MF3D mapping like we’re supposed to when if you’ve got more than one controller connected. A few things responded here and there, but everything was super glitchy.
Things worked better after I used the big import button (to get the MF tsi file loaded the first time) and then using the small import button (to import the MF tsi file a second time). Now I’m going to try to add my Mk2 tsi file to this. Hopefully I can get everything nice and jelly. Really excited to use this MF3D mapping ![]()
thanks for sharing the insight.
