i feel like a newb now

how can i change the email notification setting?

i searched the FAQ, but it said that in the user CP theres a section called

screw it, ill copy/ paste it:

Messaging & Notification - options include:
‘Receive Email’ - whether or not you want to receive emails from other Members and administrators
‘Default Thread Subscription Mode’ - how you want to be notified about new posts in threads to which you have subscribed
‘Private Messaging’ - control how you want Private Messaging to work for your account
‘Visitor Messaging’ - control how you want Visitor Messaging to work for your account

i cant find that heading or the subscription mode. i have 300+ emails from djtt and its only growing

Click: private messages(top right)/ edit options(left column)/ under messaging and notification the 2nd box is the default thread subscription mode (center page).

newb or not, I was actually going to post a thread exactly about this. I have a shitload of inbox stuff from DJTT, drives me nuts!! (I still love you guys though)

If your inbox is filling up with replies to threads you can opt to receive daily notifications instead of an email each time that thread a reply. It’s in your user cp it’s under the settings and options tab in the message and notification section.

lol thanks for posting this. i’ve been meaning to get on top of it forever, always slips my mind. my inbox is full of the rubbish.
