I love my S2 ā¦ Itās gonna be a great summer!
Iāve had the S2 for about a month and half. Never really DJāed before in my life ā¦ Background in production. Got an opportunity ā¦ 5 shows down ā¦ Iāve made $1000 ā¦ Minus plenty of initial costs ā¦ But got it locked and gaining momentum. All summer. 1 night a week (Thursdays) ā¦ Hoping to find another, bigger $$$ venue for Fridays or Saturdays.
This little beach town is loving the ācontrollerismā!! And harmonic mixing. AND my SYNC button for the haters!
Iāve met some awesome people and its just getting started! Gonna be fun!

Congrats. Dont get overconfident tho. I know that Ft Walton/Destin area well, and lets just say that you dont need to have conquered the art of DJān to get gigs.

Haha! Thanks! I need that type of energy! I like here alot. I live in Destin. But the gig is actually on Pensacola Beach. A much more unpredictable crowd than Nighttown .. AJās .. the spots around here.
My goal is to grab something regular Downtown Pensacola this summer ā¦ And hopefully something here in Destin as well. Weāll see. So far so good! Iām getting a good response and not a whole lot of competition (as far as ācontrolleristsā go) from the neighboring venues on the boardwalk.
