I need some feedback on two of my tracks

Hey guys, please could you guys comment on and give me some tips on these two tracks. One Is a remix I did recently (which hasn’t been mastered) the other is an Original that is coming out on Beatport in two weeks.
Also If you dig them please like and favourite them  Shot (y)

Did you post this already?

Ya bra, need as many comments as possible

Not a good way to go about it I’d say

Why not man, the more views the better, its not like I’m spamming?

Well, it kind of is though. Especially seeing how you just joined these are your first two posts/threads.

Not really man, whats wrong with me trying to get my tracks out there (especially in a forum where you are encouraged to display your tracks and mixes)

This area is more for posting about production, software, equipment and so on. Not posting actually tracks. That’s why it looks like you’re spamming.

Thats why I’m asking for feedback on my production, HOW TO IMPROVE, make MY MIXING TIGHTER, what TO CHANGE IN MY TRACK, thats something to do with production isn’t it?

But don’t you find it a little weird doing that while they are being RELEASED? If you’d posted it before you even knew about a release, it would have made sense…

Feedback is more for the “Mixes and Production” area. This is area is more for what I said earlier and asking specific questions on gear, software, techniques and so on.

My thoughts as well

if you want lots of comments hit up something like cloudkillers, where people will skip thru your track and listen to 3 seconds, often posting something inane like HUGE TRACK or BIG UPS BRA CHECK OUT MY TUNES.

if you want constructive criticism though - well your tracks sound like everyone else. from the intro with the white noise sweep, the tight deep kick doubled with the high tick attack, the peaks with whoops and fwips and distorted bass, it’s like you’re trying to just copy knife party or porter robinson some combination of popular complextro/electro artists out there.

now you have a big sound on these tracks, so you clearly have some idea of how to work your DAW.
i’d work on finding your own sound, bringing something new to the sea of copy and paste recycled formula driven ‘music’ clogging up the EDM sound.

Thanks PsyEDK, really appreciate the honest feedback, really opened my eyes a bit
