Yup, it defiantly pays to purchase an overlay :slight_smile: Id highly recommend doing so.

I dont think it is at all? ive not got an overlay but dont seem to have any issues… what area are you refering to ?

you kinda learn to re-memorize what the buttons do, but I did eventually get the overlay.

you really do need to memorize your layout. i dont have any labels on my trigger finger.

none of my gear it labled haha - though i created my own mappings from scratch, so i think thats bit different to using someone else’s setup

meybe i should go in local paper store and buy sticker paper and write commands to paper and paste it to surface

I use my girlfriends Dymo Letra Tag from work.. It prints in black on clear tape or black coloured tape and puts neat borders round all the labels. Just cut the label off the strip and peel the back off.

dynamo printers are brilliant!

did the same for my first set traktor scratch pro setup using a PCR-30 to trigger effects and loops, works a treat

I just seen an overlay on a unit for the first time when i arrived here Bali and damn they look sexy !

I would go as far as to say they look better than the black units without an overlay
