yes, and for the life of me i can’t remember the name right now. i thought it has a red in the name somewhere or maybe it was red…lol, well i know what you are talking about.
Red was it that was the company Red Sound the Infader .

We still use the shit out of the Darkstar synth they made back in the day .
yup, that’s the one. thanks for finding it, i wasn’t on my searches.
on a side note, there are a couple of skins for virtual dj that also have a similiar 3 crossfader setup.
Im gonna bite the bullet and just set up smart mixing. The best I can do with BOMES is a fade where both decks are always moving in relation to the fader position. Thanks to all who tried, and especially to DvlsAdvct who chatted with me all night trying to figure something out.
I know it’s really easy to do, I just have to sit down and do it.
I know in Virtual DJ there is a software slider to do exactly what you want for treble, mid and low, cross fading from one deck to another. Whether you can midi control I don’t know.
I also do that kind of mixing though I still prefer to use the rotaries - the linear transition is not always what is required. BTW do you bring in level fader fully on the incoming track whilst the EQ is on lowest/kill setting and then turn the EQ’s up on the incoming track and down (to an eventual kill) on the outgoing appropriately?
What I do is have one EQ from the incoming track up and then bring in the volume fader. It lets me guage things better than having the volume up and the eq’s dead. Leaves me with headroom on the volume. Well kind of, I find its more effecient, since I only have to move the volume once.
of course you can midi control that function. it’s just that virtual dj can’t compete with traktor by far. ![]()
i would really like an eq-crossfade function in traktor. theres spot where a quick linear fade is perfect!
i will find out how to do this 2nite. why are people obsessed with bomes on here it doesnt enable you to do anything extra does it?
Yeah it’s a feature of certain skins. It’s absolutely essential if you are just mixing with a mouse and you’re limited to moving one control at a time. I guess it never caught on because you have more control with two hands modifying the two EQ knobs individually.
Freaky… (remember thinking the same when I saw it in a catalogue years ago)
hey aint got round to putting tohethether the solutiin but will tonight its pritty easy to do the solution but will tonight
right here is my solution well kinda it needs work. it works but as in traktor you cant set eq kill as a fader it cant do what i though it could i dont know why they would lewt u set it as one it just seems silly. i really want someone to have a final solution using bomes. as i honestly cant find a need for it in traktor part from changing button cc’s on controllers that dont allow you to
eq high set to fader relative and sensitivity 71 per cent set to deck a
do same for deck b but invert
eq high kill as button hold invert for deck a
repeat for deck b with no invert
repeat this for med and low
please please can some one prove the power and bomes and show me you can do this using bomes
