Import TSI file fail

Import TSI file fail

Hi there, I have a problem with importing TSI files. I get no error, but no mapping is created! I use a TSI file from Traktor Bible who always worked before. I try to map Traktor Pro to a Denon MC6000 controller. Via Import on the bottem in the controller editer, and also via the “add” function below device. Reboot laptop, usb pluged in again, update Traktor via Service Center, update firmware Denon MC6000..nothing works. Does anyone know this problem and can help me to solve this? Or point me to the solutions earlier posted on this forum? I can’t find a similar post (?)

Thank in advance!

Where did you place the *.tsi file, in what folder?

Did you solve the trouble?

Hi,

I´m having similar problem, did you solve the issue?

Which mapping is it? Can you please post the link?

Hello,

I´ve been running this mapping for 2 years with out problems:

https://www.traktorbible.com/freaks/mappingview.aspx?id=214

But A week before it just stop working. I tried to import the tsi that comes along with traktor but same situation, the program seems to “see” the controller but nothing happen.

today I uninstall Traktor and installed again… but the problems remains…

If I map something, It works… so I can´t figure it out why the tsi files dont´work.

:disappointed:

Some of Denon controllers are partly supported via HID protocol mapping… So if this guy is one of them than it may be no longer supported by Traktor. You should be good with building your own mapping for it though.

Denon controllers can be switched to a different MIDI channel with a button combo. Check that you haven’t done it by accident.

Hello,

Thank you for your response,

Actually i noticed that the midi channels are learned by traktor with different channel for example:

Original TSI file Learned Channel
Kob FX 1 Deck A Ch.01 Ch.05

So i´ll try to restore the controller,

I haven´t update the firmwere of the controller since i bought it… Do you think the update could fix the problem?

Don’t update the firmware. Just change the midi channel assignment if the controller is set to something different.
read the manual. page 19
