Is DJ Forums down??

I hope theres no hard feeling between the two sites, but I haven’t been able to connect to DJ Forums for a while now. Am I the only one? :smiley:

I think so, i’m not getting anything. This is just one more reason to love djtt: the forums are NEVER down.

you can say that again. I’ve lost so many big posts due to the fucking “database” errors. I now ALWAYS copy everything I write before posting. :confused:

This place has less of the “you beat match you suck” sort of shit going on. Everyones into controllers. :smiley:

It goes down every month or two for a few days. I don’t know who actually hosts the site, but it’s one of the worst I’ve seen, but I’m not knocking it because I don’t pay for it.

But yeah. I think there are a fair few people who collectively enjoy this forum (DJTT) but go to specific others for different kinds of information, or just a different spin on things.

there’s no hard feelings between us and DJ Forums that I’m aware off. Two sites and mostly two different crowds although there’s a lot of members here that are members there.

I think it’s been down since monday…there seems to be a lot more experience on djforums than djtt…but each site has their good and bad

yeah, I’d say DJTT has the larger % of newer djs of all the forums I go to. serato forums everyone is an asshole, but a majority of them are working top 40 / hip hop djs which is what I am. djforums seems like a lot of older cats, i go there for the buy and sell and the mobile dj subforum

I was, ive even got a funny screen shot of the home page when it was under construction. I didn’t count it because the told us ahead of time that it was happening.

ive kinda stopped caring about dj forums. Last time it was down i came here and registered. Its a MUCH better atmosphere here…

along with the fact that peeps over there are much more closed minded to new techniques and controller integration…

Nuff said,

ive actually been looking in on the forums here almost everyday, and have learned much more here in the last week and a half then i have at all on djforums… so Cheers DJTT!

Why do people ask if a forum is down when they cannot get on it…???

I dont walk into the street when its pissing down with rain and then phone my girlfriend and ask her “Is it raining”…!!!
