Is there a new version of NI traktor S2 kontrol coming up?
why would they be promoting this clearing/sale if there wasn’t a new versing coming out?

to sell loads of them, very possibly so that there’ll be more potential customers for the F2 when it comes out in april.

Its not a clearance its a winter sale, ni have lots of sales to keep getting our money, it works to 
If your in the market for a new controller, your not going to look passed the S2 now, I think its a great idea. More customers with traktor, so more scratch upgrades and alot more possible buyers of the new device that will work with the s2/s4.
I don’t think a new s2 is going to be released, rather it has a lot to do with the release of the F1. NI has released a lot of their stuff in April so I’m assuming it’s going to be the same for the F1, and it kind of makes sense with the sale.
The discount is selling S2’s like crazy in the majority of stores in Toronto, and I imagine it’s the same online. The S2 is a great piece of hardware, but the only limitation is that it only has 2 decks, something that some DJ’s might find limiting, but they won’t come to this realization right away, I’d give it a month or so of mixing and fooling around. So in about a month you’re going to have a large number of S2 owners that are looking to mix 4 decks but don’t want to sell their controller, so they’re going to need another controller that will enhance Traktor for them… the F1. Makes a great addition to the S2 in a compact solution. Great marketing on NI’s part.
This is all just a speculation, but it’s the way I see the situation.
