IS there a way to use a real guitare on ableton with an adaptater
Hi, i found this adaptater Usb to (guitare) Jack in a store, and i wondered if i could play the guitare with it on my computer:
→ With ableton in MIDI
→ With ableton in audio
→ With garage band in audio
Yes, but you can’t use midi.

So i should make the guitare with garage band. Then import it to ableton?
You can, but you should be able to record straight into Ableton.

Yes but garage band has many different model of amps, not ableton. (am i right ?)
Ableton has an Amp audio effect with different modes and types, but that might be for Suite only.
Ableton has an amp but it’s not very IMHO. NI guitar rig is way better
I 100% Agree. Guitar rig is great, and if you have the money, get it, but until then, just go with Garage Band.

As far as using your guitar as a midi controller. Try Jam Origin – Audio to MIDI
i’ve tried the demo and IMHO, it works as good as one of the Roland pickups. And its polyphonic.
