Is white vinyl more prone to extreme vinyl crackles ?

So I got a new batch of vinyl a last weekend and there was a white record with it.
There is one section of the record with lots of crackles, the crackles are even louder than the song itself.
Also the record was new, quite a recent release, not second hand.

It is really quite bothersome those crackles, much more noticeable than the other crackles you usually get with vinyl.

Is it because it’s white vinyl ? And is there anything I can do ?

not in my experience…all vinyl is pretty much the same.

Apparently coloured vinyl is worse for sound quality. But it’s probably negligible.

Never heard of shittier quality with coloured disks, but picture disks do really sound worse.

It’s something to do with the dye they use and the effect it has on the grooves or something. Black is top for sound quality but as I said before, it’s probably not worth worrying over. It might just be a filthy piece of vinyl, so get some wood glue.

Isn’t coloured vinyl made of different coloured raw material?
I don’t think that they dye it later.

might be faulty press
