Issues with Traktor spazzing out
Having a problem with Traktor, it keeps cycling through the different layouts all by itself. Anyone ever have this issue?
Tried closing it and opening it again, even restarting didn’t fix it.
traktor 3 right? yea you have to replace the settings file. im sorry i cant be any more specific than that i havent used T3 in a while… hopefully one of these cats can help ya there

theres a specific file that you must copy and change the extention of or something. just need to know which one 
Just deleted the current setting and loaded the default settings

Yeah, just have to go through and customize my layouts again
thats a pain. when youre done, make a copy of your settings and hide it away so that if this happens again you can easily load your own settings, without having to remap every time

speaking of Traktor Spazzing out, i recently bought the upgrade from Traktor 3 LE to Traktor pro and IT IS SOOOOO UNSTABLE!. like i paid money for this program and sometimes it wont last 10 mins without the sound just suddenly stopping or it showing i have no midi controllers connected.
I even have a brand new aluminium mac so it’s not my computers fault.
AND upgraded to 1.1.2

i have no experince with Tpro soz. my suggestion is trawling through this forum as am almost %100 certain that every problem you have has already been solved and discussed here before. or… light it on fire

Me? well before i knew what was what in this midi/software/interface world i went out and got a Numark DJ I/O, might this be the problem? it’s set at 5.5 ms latency
You need to be more specific on what ‘Spazzing out’ means.
There is absolutely no reason why you shouldnt have the most stable TPro setup known man.
Have you done the basic tweaks?
Turned off all Virus protection (if you have it)
Turned off Bluetooth and Airport.
Is Time Machine pissing about in the background? Sack that shit off.
Turn everything you dont need OFF.

you see i’de been using a cracked version of Traktor Pro for a while which was a little unstable (i knew that cracked versions eventualy started behaving wierldy)
and now i bought the program, and it seems even more so unstable.
hopefully i can resolve this soon!
Just for the record… the parameter you need to change on the settings xml on traktor 3.4 is ‘Browser.list.count’ and need to set it to its default value which is 81833465
So you dont need to reset all the settings…

sorry went out for a bit
well when i would start the program after about 10 mins of use the sound might completely stop.
And sometimes when i clicked on the full screen button and it would crackle a bit, then the sound would stop.
The ‘instability’ usualy occurs the first couple of times i open the program, then it seems to work ok after that.maybe i need to work on getting my computer settings right so that Traktor is hoggin all the ram and computer’s power.
Does anyone know if soundcards have better sound when using the AC adapter??? because both my soundcard and VCI are using power through USB.
