Just got a used MF Sepctra

So I just picked up a used Midi Fighter Spectra, and so far I really dig this thing! For the past few nights I’ve been hunting these forums for a way to drop the base note to C0. I’ve read that it can be done int the menu, however I can’t wrap my noob brain around how to do so once I’m in the menu.:expressionless: If one of you awesome people could break it down real simple for me, i’d be forever grateful.

I don’t have the answer, sorry … but I’m interested by (for Spectra and 3D) …

Personally, I manage all my MIDI signal with Bome’s Midi Translator pro, so I can do this kind of translation with, but not directly on the Midi Fighter.

Root note can’t be modified on the hardware, you’ll need some sort of translator (or the Pitch Plugin if you are using Ableton) like hdvuz suggested to transpose it to C0. MidiPipe is a nice free alternative on OS X.
