Kontrol S4 + Microkorg XL

Hi everybody! :slight_smile: I am about to buy a Microkorg XL in a week, for production and a bit of learning how to play in general and such, and I just wanted to make sure a couple of things. Can I hook it up to my S4 as a live input? and if I can, would I then need a cable like this:

MIDI is not for audio.
so you’ll need cable like that one on the picture :slight_smile:

you might want the midi cable to - so you can sync the microkorg to the tempo of traktor?

What would happen if it wasn’t synced? would it sound completely terrible? and would should I just plug that into the midi in on my S4?

And a completely different question, how would I record the sounds from the keyboard in a DAW? :slight_smile::slight_smile:
