Kontrol X1 encoders in midi mode

I’m trying to map the encoders on my X1 in midi mode. But when i touch the encoders they execute their function i mapped them to, but also screw with the eq’s. It’s like there is a secondary function underneath that i can’t find/change. Is anyone else who has experienced this problem and knows how to solve it?

Technical data:
Macbook pro w/ Lion
Traktor 2.5.1
Kontrol X1 is 9 months old, latest driver is installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

That’s strange… Can you upload that mapping?

Pressing [shift] + [hotcue] to enable midi mode, still has the X1 perform functions it would otherwise perform out of MiDI mode?

Check you don’t have any other mappings conflicting..
