What function exactly would you like the buttons to have? Set a cue point… jump to a cue point… set a cue point type…delete a cue point…??
There are lots of functions involving cue points…
If you can be somewhat more specific I will definitely be able to let you know how to set it up.
Cues/Loops:
Select/Set+Store Hotcue (Will drop to and jump to that hotcue)
Delete Hotcue (will delete that hotcue)
Set them up to run on a modifier 0 for Select/Set+Store Hotcue
And 1 for Delete Hotcue.
Create a Modifier button that is hold set value 1.
End result:
Bashing a button will drop a hotcue, continuing to bash it will jump you to that cue.
Holding shift and bashing that button will delete the hotcue and do nothing else if you keep bashing it.
@ Remote: Thanks a but i’m not sure that’s what I’m looking to do with the nanopad, i think i’d rather pre-set all my cue points and then use the nanopad to basically juggle between them… Does that make sense?
@ Jayzn: Well basically, (im pretty sure you know the video of Ean “we will rock you”, right? that sounds dumb but it’s easier to explain it that way…).
Well He has each pad assigned to a cue point, right?
Well I just wanna do that! When I go to my settings I can almost assign anything to my freakin pads but the cue points!!!
Should I first have all of my cue points saved and ready? or should I save them and assign them to my pads at the same time?
Yep, there’s another option I’m not at my Traktor set-up now but I think it’s call jump to Hotcue. If you set this to each of your pads it will jump to that hotcue.
Well, it worked, this is great you just made my day!
Thank you so much.
I was actually doing the right thing but i couldn’t assign each pad to a different hotcue. i just had to look down the screen, they were there!
