KyruSri (Original Mix) Dubstep?

Guys I need help on making this dubstep style song.

Made this, this morning and I need help on the Main Melody.
What melody would still keep it sounding okay with a Bass Drop later on?

Im just trying Dubstep out.
Totally new to FL and other music making programs.

But I could use notations on your Melodies compatible to this track.

Any tips on what I should learn first?

My Most important Question… Could this be dubstep? because I’m not sure. xD

I listened to your track snippet on my laptop speakers. Here’s my feedback.

  • The bass doesn’t seem very bassy, too midrange for dubstep. I say make the melodic element you have now the lead and move the bass down.

  • This right now sounds like.. downtempo.. with a bit of shuffle. It doesn’t really read like “dubstep” yet. But it sounds pleasant, anyway! At least the 30 seconds of it you posted..
