LEVELS(Flocka No Hands Re-boot)[NOT LIKE EVERY OTHER LEVELS MASHUP;SPICY!!]

Just finished this. I feel like its pretty different from the same old levels mashes that have been posted recently. Beautiful melody and chord progression from the Chuckie mashup builds drama and tension till the drop from the Ftampa remix hits and you have a filthy banger. I used a synthline from George Monevs Levels in Reverse edit to give some character to the Ftampa track. I feel like i got EQing and compression right this time. My master channel showed no signs of clipping or distortion. Everything was green. Hope everyone enjoys and let me know what you think

Niceee dude! thank you. Anyone have any input? Its sad this part of the forum is visited so little

u mind if i use this mashup in one of my sets ? totally love the vibe man great mashup

For sure man feel free! Glad you enjoy. Thanks!

Dude… you NEVER mix 2 vocals playing at the same time…

Idea is not that bad and the melodies would fit here and there BUT:

This is the absolute nr.1 rule! Use instrumental versions if you just want to use a song like “Levels” for the melody in the background.

Ok i agree that you shouldnt mix vocals over each other but to be honest I feel like this sounds good. the Stereo love vocals are so soft theyre like complementing the no hands acapella. Her voice is so soft and its almost like a hum. idk how to explain it really. I used side-chain compression on the no hands vocals and i feel like they sit nicely in the mix. Please feel free to prove me wrong or explain maybe in more detail but i feel like the vocals sound good together. I feel like the stereo love vocals let the no hands acapella shine through nicely. When i listen to the song through my HDJ 2000s i dont hear any clipping, distortion, muffling. but i am an amateur and would love to get all the input i could from you guys

How can you prove someone wrong on musical interpretation? It’s just standard that two vocals dont sound right together.

I had a listen as i kept seeing this thread pop up, sorry but i just think it’s far too busy. As said it’s a rule, no vocals over other vocals.

You have the idea and tried, well done for that. But just not my thing.
