Looking for a BPM analyzer tool ?

Wassup guys,
I’m Looking for a BPM analyzer tool like the mixmeister; but for use on a MAC

I already have most of the widgets for iTunes where i can manually do it but i’m looking for something that’s Auto like Mixmeister (which i uses on the PC side of the D.B.)

FYI: I also noticed mixmeister seemed to change my overall tag (sometimes, the entire thing except for file name)

Any suggestions would be helpful..

I would go for mixshare by Rapid Evolution.

It’s a free (open source?) app, that also analyses the key of youru tracks.

Dope!
i was hoping Mixed in Key would do this but it’s a different app

I’ll give it a try..

I like this more than Mixed in Key tbh.

So would I, actually Rapid Evolution and MIK were tested against each other not so long ago and Rapid Evolution won the battle.

MIK claims to be so easy to use, thats another way of saying it lacks features - Rapid Evolution on the other hand is very feature rich.

Yups, I was first working a bit on how to use MixShare, but it will even save .nml files for use with Traktor!

OMG OMG!!! This is the bomb!! Since I am not running Windows anymore here at home, I was delighted to find that this also is supported on L I N U X! No more going to the Mac every time I want to listen and analyze tracks!!!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Very much amigo!

Anytime bro’!

It should be noted BPM detection is a pretty sketchy process - it doesnt matter what program you are using the results can never be 100% trusted.

ofcourse, but this can be used as an indicator not an absolute positive.

there is a free BPM-Analyzer by MixMeister which you can get here:

http://www.mixmeister.com/bpmanalyzer/bpmanalyzer.asp

i use this all the time

That one looks interesting too if your after BPM analysis only.

Thanks!

I hope its more accurate then their key-detection !

So i was messing around with rapid evolution 2, and when i do a “find all” the program uses 100% of my cpu. Thats no good  anyone know whats causeing this?

EDIT:

Nvm found out that you could change the % cpu use in the option. I did that but then it didn’t save for some reason so i did it again and now its working.
