Looking for oldies remixes for an 80’s party im djing

As stated in the title im look for some oldies remixes such as these

Im Djin an 80’s retro party and just looking for all oldies remixes doesnt have to be 100 percent 80’s just 70s-90s maby early 2000’s at newest!

Thanks ahead of time!

Beatport has some remixes in the Hip Hop and Pop/Rock sections I believe. Soundcloud would be a good source too I reckon.

Yes, you could find interesting remixes on SoundCloud if you do good search word searches. Awful stuff, too.

80’s remixes? These have to be the easiest thing to find. P-Diddy has made a career out of 'em!

Check out DJ Scene’s 2080’s Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 mixes for some inspiration. You’ll be glad you did…

Any reason why you can just use the original song? just wonderin

BTW http://ghettofunk.co.uk announces now and then really cool ghetto-funk remixes of eighties stuff..

youtube blocked at work, why type of 80s? I know a dj that has tons of remixed 80s new wave and synth pop

Because i want to twist it up. There a problem with that?

If it sounds good ill take it doesnt matter if its DnB, Electro, house, trance, dubstep, whatever all songs are considered!

Thanks again

Nope, just a friendly question with no bad intentions

Well for your thorough answer then, I have always been the type of person to show people something they have never heard, whether that be a remix, a brand new song that came out 2 days ago or and old song that no one has ever heard of. Some gem remixes of some classics would kill it around here and give me the opportunity to slowly transition into some standard house music if i get them dancing and after a few drinks they wont even realize where i have taken them on the journey. People around where i live dont like EDM aka “techno” as they call it because its just that “Techno”. Completely biased but if opened correctly and after plenty of typical bar/party songs and of course drinks, they wont even notice that they are bobbing there head at the song i played on the jukebox 2 weeks ago that they skipped because it was just “too repetitive”.

check out blake jarrel on soundcloud he has lots of freebies of oldies

here is an example

Cooool. Curious to see how that turns out, keep me updated

My Favorite!!!

thought the exact same thing…

ALOT of 80’s dance is very mixable…dig deep…

and 90’s too…

yes. the problem is that there’s a fine line between playing a nice blend of remixes and classics and playing a pathetic set of annoying remixes of classics.

don’t be that guy.

Loads of Italo Disco that doesn’t need remixing and Shep Pettibone stuff that is very 80’s but ready to go.

Alkalino, Leftside Wobble, Tony Johns and lots of others all have good reworks of 80’s and 70’s stuff on Soundcloud.

This tune has been reworked countless times but Ben Liebrand gets it right for me. Yeke Yeke was an 80’s tune originally too although this is the 90’s hardfloor mix, a classic in itself.

Brothers in Rythym did loads in the 90’s - check out Steve Anderson’s soundcloud pages:
(You might have to go a few pages in)
