M-Audio Fast Track Pro - Cueing Issues

Morning Guys

This is my first post so hello to the wonderful world of DJTT, my journey is beginning.

I have recently got myself hooked up with the VCI 100 Arcade Edition and have purchased the M-Audio Fast Track Pro as my chosen sound card which I understood to work with Traktor Pro. However, despite my best efforts and googling it to death I just cannot get the damn thing to work for cueing with the VCI. Does anybody have a simple step by step guide to make the dman thing work on Windows XP Professional?

Any help would be greatly appreciated before all my hair falls out with stress!!!

vjack… I feel a forum ban coming…

And Bonzo.. It should just be a simple case of installing the drivers for the soundcard, then selecting it as the output device in traktors audio settings.

Are you running windows or a mac ?

I have downloaded the most up to date drivers, I have tried everything on every google thread, and believe me there are plenty (which shows how unnecessarily complicated it is), but nothing seems to work.

I really need someone with Windows XP to give me a step by step guide so that I can identify where I’m going wrong.

I have enabled the outputs on the Fast Track Pro software so all four outputs show on Traktor, but when I select the relevant ones on the output monitor nothing happens other than playing what’s already going through the speakers…its sooooo frustrating!!!
