M Audio X Session Pro …Jogwheel Mod

Hello All

want to try something with my old X Session Pro

The idea is to use 2 of the effect pots to control the virtual turntables in a dj software
Test with the original Pots works great but no endless spin

so i found some mousewheel encoders and soldered these to the pcb

but now wenn i try to turn the pots the power LED begins to blink and nothing happens
the complete x session didnt work … no pots..no sliders etc

what happend …i dont get it

You can’t really just swap pots for encoders, it doesn’t work that way sadly.
