Mackie d2 & TSP2

Quick questions…

I have a mackie d 2, I know the pro version was Traktor certified…

Q1 - would the pro still work with the current version of TSP2?

Q2 - if I get the FireWire option board (found one on eBay), would it turn my d2 into a pro?

Got my answers from Mackie..basically the D.2 Pro had an updated firewire interface with more I/Os than the d.Series card.
