Mapping a knob to be a “shift” modifier" in Traktor Pro

Hey all,

I’m currently working on a mapping for my Trigger Finger and am looking to see if it’s possible to map a knob to basically change the function of certain pads, similar to how you can press Shift+Sampler in the MIDI Fighter mapping to go into Gater or Beatslicer mode.

I’ve been looking at the MIDI Fighter mapping to see how DJTT did it, but I’m just kind of lost since I’m trying to use a knob rather than buttons.

This is Example For TF
Don’t need Enigma to Operate this
1.Enter edit mode
2. Press select
3.Turn theknob Or move Fade that you decide to Act like Mod
4.Press Select Again
turn the C3 knob (The Third knob From the left in Bottom Row)
Un til LCD Count Down to “7”
Ok Press Save & Exit button 3 time then you Editing have been save

Right Now Your know have Only range 0-7 From min to max … We don’t need to worry about fader move by itselfand Make you Know Excatly Modify Status

Mapping in traktor just Add in Modify Select FADER/KNOB + RELATIVE MODE
All right you’ll see in Traktor screen

OK, that seems to work. Can I only do this with the C3 knob? I would prefer this modifier to be one of the knobs on the top row, but when I try to do this same edit, the LCD just shows dashes and no MIDI values.
