Mapping Cue Points to the MF3D need Help with the LED

Hello DJTT

I wan’t to make a Mapping for my MF3D, and I need some help with the LED’s.

I want on Page1 All the Cue Points from Deck A (Button 1-8) Deck B (Button 9-16) and on Page2 the Same with Deck C&D.

I want for each Deck another colour.
Deck A
Deck B
Deck C
Deck D

But I want that the Cue Point just light up, when its set. So if I have set Cue Points from 1-5 I want that just these lights up, and not 1-8.

The other thing I want is, that when I press a side button and the Cue Point, it will delete the Cue Point.

I have the mapping now, but the Button’s are all on in the specific deck colour. It doesn’t matter if a Cue Point is set or not.

Can someone help me with this?

Tank you guys

Hey NDEEB,

The midifighter can be configured to display inactive (when not pressed) and active (when pressed) button state. How is this set in the Utility?

Hi guys

This Video shows exactly what I wanted.

And it just works fine. But I have a problem with the colours.
I would like to have on Bank A (for exaple)
the upper 8 buttons for the cuepoints of deck A in blue(dark when no hotcue is stored, and bright when a hotcue is stored).

But i cannot map it correctly with traktor. Can someone explain to me, how I set the LED Output in Traktor?

Thank you

Cheers NDEE B

Hey NDEEB

The latest 3D firmwares use the MIDI out messages found in the MF Spectra user manual. Make sure you map the off state to black and on state to white to have the colours match.

And to do so use the ‘Hotcue x State’ modifier condition. Once it’s assigned to correct cue, you can choose which state (value) and then set corresponding LED color by tweaking the MIDI Range value (min=off ; max=on)
