Mapping LEDs on APC 40 with Traktor Pro

Hi im new to the forum and also new to midi mapping…
i am using traktor pro I have 2 kontrol x1’s and an APC 40 im using the x1’s as decks more or less and the APC40 as a mixer…
I haven’t had a hard time mapping my knobs for EQ’s or the volume faders for the 4 decks…
what i am having a hard time with is getting the LEDs on the 8x5 clip launch grid to light up after they are mapped:confused:…
i was wondering if anyone has ANY advice or an in depth description on how to get the LEDs to work on my APC40 with Traktor Pro
