Plans for ‘supporting’ TP2?

Are there plans on releasing a mapping for TP2 once it comes out?

yes mate.i spoke to flashflooder and he said the old mapping works apart from some led issues and he’s also going to add to it for the new features to work.obviously gonna take a bit of time though.

I wish… at leat it seems that 3.6.4 will work with TP2, but adding some controls for the sample decks will be a nice treat. I am never using the beatjuggle mode so we have some buttons to launch the samples, however the main problem is for the knobs, e.g filter and volume. Worst comes to worst I will map Maschine, lot of pads and 8 knobs even if they are endless encoders and not pots

Please DJ TT Team you did such a wonderful job with 3.6.4 just give us a sign for April 1st!!!

you´re right, i own the maschine. probably the better way, but i need the jogs and fader of the vci. so i need the maschine and the vci.

hey calvin,

i can pretty safely say that we will be making a new modified mapping for the vci-100 that utilizes the new features in tpro2. I’m not sure when it will come out but hopefully it will be right around when the new software is released.

I gave the current mapping a test run the other day and it mostly works. There were some LED feedback issues but I think the functionality pretty much worked. I will probably modify the existing one to work cleanly with Tpro2 and in addition I think we will create a new mapping which utilizes a lot of the new features.

I think it’ll be cool but it is going to be a good deal of work. On that note, I should get started! Thanks for your support.

Just checking to see if the template gods have been working on anything new for the VCI-100 1.3/1.4 firmware for Traktor Pro 2, now that it is officially out.

Midifidler said he’s been working on one. The old one largely works, but needs to be tweaked for the new features.

TSP2 Upgrade ist available for download now. So are there any news about a djtt mapping for the vci? :slight_smile:

Just a suggestion. In terms of controling the sample decks.

Shift + fader fx makes the bottom 4 buttons under the platters launch buttons for sample decks (c and d banks) and shift + control fx makes the 4 knobs used for effects to be used as level knobs for the 4 sample decks (control fx 1 for bank c and 2 for bank d)

I vote for a complimentary mapping for Maschine and the sample decks, the Midifighter is a beast for cue points and effects but the lack of knobs for filter and volume may not be the best for sample decks.
