MF classic mod
hey guys im new to the forum and altho ive read the threads on adding on the classic with faders, buttons and knobs theres conflicting information regarding the way to connect them.
im looking at adding 4 buttons, 2 faders and a knob (like the beatmasher MFpro)
which items need digital and which need analog connectivity on the board extention ports?
Analog is anything that is not off or on - knobs, faders
Digital is anything that is only off or on - buttons
Feel free to post any specific questions and I can point you in the right direction!
thanks for a fast response connecting the buttons up im guessing they go digital port and ground on the 2 connectors? as im going to use 4 further sanwa buttons
on that fader which contact goes to where sadly no data sheet is available otherwise i would have worked it out myself

trying to map this custom config but i want to keep the 4 banks mode instant gratification on the buttons have tried using the midi fighter pro mapping but only the right fader works and no matter how hard i try to remap the left fader doesnt seam to control effects
There are four analog inputs and you appear to only use two.
Try moving the connections around until you find the correct combination
thanks for the advise i had worked out earlier in the day by trial and error that the left fader needs to be on A3 port and right fader on A2 im guessing the knob will go on A1? also on the pro are the fx preset buttons on a multiplex system to allow for the led control?
yeah the Pro re purposes the digital pins as SPI and uses an LED driver and shift register to read the four buttons and drive their respective LED
decided to map the fx presets to my keyboard got the rest all nicely boxed tho not looking tidy right now so will neaten it all up before posting pics but all works fine using the MFP beat masher tsi on the faders and knobs and semi modified the midi fighter IG so the buttons didnt load the effects when pressed,
