MF Pro: Cue Master problem after frimware update

MF Pro: Cue Master problem after frimware update

Hi everyone!
Some days a go I updated my MF Pro: CM frimware but now i got a (big) problem.
I loaded the mappings into traktor and set the in and out port to: MidiFighter Pro: Cue master. But Traktor don’t react when i push a button. It only shows a LED like he always do when traktor is not running. I hope someone can help me!
(Sorry for my bad English.)

Hi

Contact DJTT support,

Sorry that I can’t help,
I’ve still to update my MF classics and MF pro with the new updater

Have you tried to re-assign your midifighter as the controller in the traktor mapping window? If it is your first time flashing with the new firmware the name the controller shows up as in traktor may have changed slightly

The first time I flashed mine traktor recognised 2 mf pros even though I only had one plugged in after selecting the “real” one and restarting everything has been normal

I tried what you said but it doesn’t work. :s
But mine Traktor also shows 2 MF Pros but before i flashed my MF i got that too.
Is there realy nobody who can help me because this realy sucks. ;s
Ask me if you need more information.
Or is it maybe a good idea to start back from zero, so delete everyting; Traktor etc.
Already thank you sidetrackd for helping me!

Im not really sure how to fix your problem did you import the .tsi twice with the bid import button?

Do i need to import it twice?
And btw the bid button is that the big button bellow in the preferences screen or the ‘Add…’ button in the controller manager tab?

Can someone help me or send me a good Tutorial?

Hey Lauren5 are you using a Mac?

No, i’m using Windows Vista.

Lauren5 try going to device manager with both midi fighters plugged in, then locate them under Sound, Video, and game controllers. Right click on each one and select “Uninstall”.

Once this is finished unplug them both, and them plug one in, wait for the drivers to uninstall, then plug the other in.

This is not based on past experience but would be the first thing I would try.

But i only got 1 MF, Traktor just says that i got 2 MF’s.
When I imported the MF mapping then i got 2 mappings:

MF Pro FX: Cue Master [Focus AB] (in: Midfighter Pro: Cuemaster out:Midfighter Pro: Cuemaster)
MF_Deck+IG v1.5.7.3 (Focus AB) (in: Midfighter Pro: Cuemaster out: Midfighter Pro: Cuemaster)

Yeah that’s fine, one MF pro takes two Mappings.
One for the FX and one for the arcade buttons

Assign both Mappings to the Cuemaster and you’ll be good to go.

I did but it didn’t work.
Is there maybe a tutorial avaible for importing mappings (for MF Pro: CM)?

I’m already searching for days to fix it but I just don’t find it.
Is there realy nobody who can help me or send me a tutorial from how it works?

Sorry that I need to bump this topic again.
But i’m still waiting for help!

First flash your midifighter again (just to be sure)
Next follow the instructions at the end of this video and import your .tsi

I’m not sure what to advise after that except maybe make a quick video and show us exactly what is happening.I personally can’t understand what the problem is

I tried what you said but it still don’t work.
I will explain my problem:
So when i open traktor and i press for example the ‘play button’ the music wont play. And my midifighter just shows the led near by the button I press like he always do when traktor isn’t running. But when I press a button, Traktor receive a midi singal.

/Sorry for my bad english.

Lauren if traktor is receiving a signal but not responding it is 99% likely that it is an issue to do with how you have imported the mapping.

That’s prety weird becaus i ‘redownloaded’ the mapping and put the .tsi file in traktor like this:

I also got a Kontrol S4 btw.

Have you selected the MF in the Midi in / Midi out drop downs?
