MF spectras randomly flash and reset in set
Hi.
I am using two MF spectras on Belkins aluminium powered hub with 7 usb connection points.
In the last couple of weeks I have had the following scenario happen to me a few times:
Randomly the MFs flash and reset. I then have to do reconfigure within Traktor but only to find this happen again 10 minutes later. The MF tool software indicates the software is up to date, also changed power plug, restarted computer, all of it. And still the fuck out randomly. Sometimes only one of them, sometimes both simultaneously.
Does anyone have an idea why this happens?
Is your USB hub a powered hub?

Sorry, I didn’t see that. Have you tried with another computer? If you can, try on another computer. If it doesn’t work on another computer, it’s probably a hub or Midi Fighter problem. If it does work, your computer is probably the problem. Also, do any of the other USB devices shut off?
The same set up is not giving me issues at most other clubs. There are two clubs I have encountered this and I am assuming the reason for this must be electricity peaks but I am not sure and wonder how that could be prevented. I have sent the support an eMail too, started this thread to see if some one else had run into the same problem…
