MFP beatmasher FX1 preset problem

Hello,

I got some troubles with the FX1 preset on my MF pro beatmasher.

When I receive it the right crossfader was a little bit hard to slide it. Then after using it for a few session, it was sliding perfectly.

I use it a couple of time to manage the differents FX preset, and the preset 1 was my favourite, and the only one I really mastered.

Now, and I don’t know why, this preset is totally screwed. It seems that the right crossfader sending a wrong message to Traktor.

There is also a modification on the beatmasher buttons. The sound became totally different.

I use this MF pro with an S4. I reset all the parameters on my S4 and I also reset the MF pro trought the MF utility. But the problem is still the same.

Maybe I’m just crazy, but I’m sure that the sound coming from the FX preset 1 is new to my hearing, and sounds really awful.

I really don’t know what to do. I got this midi controller since 13 days and I need it for my shows. Does anyone of you got the same problem?

Maybe I’m doing something wrong, or maybe I forget to do something when I reset my devices.

I send a message to DJ Techtools but I think I’m gonna wait until I get the answer. I really need a Tech Guru on this one.

Try

1. Pressing a single preset button twice in a row. What exactly does it do if u do that?
2. Delete the mapping and reimport it. Could be ur available efx or the order of traktor efx got changed. Mfs can be weird about effect order (and how they need multiple imports to work).
3. Post a vid with whats happening.. I could tell u pretty quick if its ‘working right’ or not. Fx1 preset should give u a 100 percent wet bmash and peak filter if i remember right.

After reseting and changing the midi MFP configuration with the MF Utility the effects is came back.

I really don’t understand why it happened.
