Midi fighter Twister > Ableton: sync LED feedback

Midi fighter Twister > Ableton: sync LED feedback

Hi all,

I have 8 rotaries setup to control the first 8 parameters of selected device.
However, the LED rings don’t change to display the current position of the selected device, is there a way to do this?

Thanks

John

Make sure you enabled REMOTE OUT in the MIDI preferences and that Takeover mode is set to either “Value Scaling” or “None”

Did you manually map those knobs?
Are you using the generic live script?
Are you using a regular Python script?

Hi padi,

On further investigation it seems to be an issue with the "selected track control’ script I’m trying to use as it doesn’t currently appear to have midi feedback available.

Hopefully the ‘value scaling’ or ‘none’ takeover modes will fix a value jumping problem between devices I’m having too.

You could give this script a shot while you are at it, it has feedback on all parameters. The last update on the script you link is from May 2013 and quite some things have changed in the way how these work in Live since then (9.1 onwards mainly).

Thanks Padi,
I’m now using that script for controlling the first 8 device paramaters.
This other script is the only one I can find though which will control the first 8 sends on the selected track.
