Midi fighter wont start

it won’t go through the snake and is entirely unresponsive, won’t go into bootloader mode or anything any one? help? please :disappointed:?

no leds at all? mine didn’t start properly a few times but did after a few plug/unplugs. no usb devices showing up?

the top right led comes on and stays solid, and your right not showing up as a device

No, holidays are over. They may be playing catch up though.

i don’t have the buttons on it just holes where the buttons should be

yeah tried with a bit of wire did not work still just the solid light

still did not fix the problem, definitely a hardware problem

A really common mistake is people not using the old updater to reflash the firmware. Are you both using the original updater or the new utility?

I can’t get into bootloader mode via the four buttons mode or manually with the two little red buttons

Because of the problem with the top right button,

The top right button does not send out a midi signal and resets the midi fighter when you press the top right button

When I manually try and get it into bootloader mode it just resets itself (does the snake led pattern)

So there is no way I can get it into bootloader mode either way

And yeah I know about using the old updater,

I use the old updater for my other MF classic and I have not had to update my MF pro with the new updater as it works fine

Thew! Got the MF classic working now,
Been testing the MF for a week now, all seems good
