MIDI Help
Hello everyone! I dont think my previous post made it so I am re-posting it.
I have been putting together mixes for the past two years and im new to the world of production. Im sorry for being such a noob on this topic but i figured this was the best place for me to turn to look for help.
I am currently using reaper and I have a pretty good understanding of of the software. I am not aware of the full capability of it but I have the basics down. Today I downloaded a remix pack and I guess i need to know where i need to go from here. The remix pack is in midi format and reaper recognizes it. Once I load it into Reaper it is automatically separated into different channels. But when i press play I hear nothing. Everything is armed to record but im pretty sure this is a send or receive issue. So to make a long story short I guess i Kind of need a tutorial on what i need to do step by step after I download a remix pack and it load it into reaper, what is it that i need to do to start editing and making changes.
We all start somewhere and this is where my start will be. Hope to hear from everyone on this manner soon!
