Midi Problems with Maschine + ableton maschine preset

Hello guys , I recently purchased the maschine , My current setup is maschine + launchpad + xone 4d.

When I shift control maschine into midi mode I am able to access the sends etc within ableton , however within a matter of seconds the template stops responding and the only way to regain control is unplug the controller and plug it back in,I can still work maschine as normal but the midi side loses functionallity

Has anyone else ran into these problems

Also should I have 2 different boxes (one for maschine , one for launchpad)

If anyone else has ran into these problems and found a solution that would be great.

This is a very common issue in maschine and NI has not fixed it yet… horrible doesn´t it? They said it is a pro midi controller… crap

i can’t remember a time it has happened to me, but i’ve heard about the issue. it can sometimes help to leave the maschine controller editor open, running in the background.

i found it sometimes needs a lil refresh at the start of my ableton session, so i’ve made a saved config in the mac audio midi setup that i switch from default to the saved one, and it refreshes all the active midi devices.
