Midifighter Classic Dekalized mapping problems in Traktor 2.6.8
So I’m using two classics, one to control deck A and one to control Deck B, with the deckalized mappings, but cannot get both decks to work properly most of the time. There is usually one deck where the shift function does not work correctly. If I unplug and replug the midifighters and restart traktor multiple times, I can sometimes get the mappings to work properly on both midifighters, but it is extremely random. I have tried reimporting mappings/effects settings multiple times, reinstalling traktor, etc. Nothing seems to work. Anyone have any ideas?
Shift is a basic hold type modifier button which works, or don’t at all - can’t be disturbed by accident unless the original author of the mapping have made some other modifier conditional which I hardly doubt. Currently it sounds that you’ve installed both deck mappings and run them both with ‘All Ports’ enabled.
Mapping is a puzzle that you put together and kinda glue it. It can be interrupted with some software updates so you make sure the latest firmware version is installed.
Ok, I’ve been trying to update the firmware, but the MF Utility (latest version) says it cannot reach DJtechtools.com (I already tried disabling windows firewall). My firmware is currently dated 16 August 2012. Is there a newer version? And if so, how can I install it manually?
