I 100% agree the MFU is outdated and we are working hard to redesign and bring it up to 2026 standards. This next utility is already a big step in the right direction but 3.0 is coming later this year.
I considered electron but firmware upgrades were a major roadblock so for now we are sticking with an updated QT framework (for reference Logitech and Traktor are also QT based)
