Mixer and Controller

Hello all,

I have a slight issue, basically the volume slider on my mixtrack pro 3 has broken as well as a few of the knobs on the mixer part. I was wondering, if I could connect the controller to an external mixer for the gain, and eqs and use both the turntables on the pro 3 as they are still working. Issue is, it has a one channel output, RCA, for a pair of speakers.

Im wondering if it is possible to split the single channel output into two separate channels to be used for a mixer as the mixer requires two separate channels.

no, your controller only has 1 soundcard

Get an NI audio 2, then you can still use your controller and do 2 channel mixing from the external mixer :slight_smile:

To add to this, you’d use the Mixtrack for your transport and FX, and use the mixer for channel control.

EDIT: Also, you could potentially use the Numark’s audio interface, feeding in the main out as channel 1 on the mixer, and feeding the headphone cue out as channel 2. It’s inelegant and a fudge, but it should work in a pinch..
