Mixer or not ?

Hello y’all :slight_smile:

i have an old Gemeni cs02 in my house :stuck_out_tongue:

i was wondering if plugging my soundcard (numark dj i/o) in a channel of the mixer and plug the master out or the booth out (?) in the amp would be better quality/louder than simply plug my DJ i/o in the amp ? :confused:

I’ve done some test on my sound system at home at it seems like the sound card provides clearer sound and i’m able to go louder without distorting.

With the mixer the sound seems to have more bass, but a bit less clear and distort my speakers at a lower sound level than without de mixer.

I’m wondering if maybe on smaller soundsystem i should not use the mixer but with bigger/better speakers i should bring it to boost my volume.:eek:

What do you think ?

Mixer or not ?

Your mixer is just coloring the sound and quite honestly that’s not a very good mixer. Why run into the mixer unless you’re mixing with it?
