Mixtrack Pro map in Traktor
The buttons are messed up for the Mixtrack Map that comes with Traktor… Is it just me or are the cue buttons where the loop buttons are in real life?
Did you try importing the maps again? In your Documents folder (windows, assumption)/Native Instruments/Traktor/Settings/ there should be a folder for controllers, and there’s a Native Instruments Mixtrack and Mixtrack LE. Depending on your version, try importing one of those and seeing if it makes it better?
Otherwise you could always remap it, but it’s not very fun to do such a complex device from scratch.
not quite what i was looking for. vdj le that comes with it has a perfect map for the mixtrack pro, was hoping there was a way to convert that map to a .tsi and keep the button definitions as they are, i like having the 3 hot cues and in traktor right now the cue buttons are where the loops are in real life (and in vdj). hope that made a shred of sense

You’ll have to map the soundcard yourself, however.
Check out that button that says Manual (in white) Auto(in red). Keys do what is written in white when the button is off and what is written in red when the button is on. This key is only a modifier and has no other function. Hope that helps, as I use traktor pro 1.2.4 and the map from the cd and it was relatively fine.
hey there guys,im new to this site and new to computer djing,im a former vestax and vinyl dj.i aint no computer whizzkidd either though i use a pc for production using cubase 5,live 8 and reason 4.my fiancee just bought me the numark mixtrack pro for xmas,now,i know it comes with virtual dj,trouble is i hate it,i have traktor scratch pro installed on my laptop witch is a pc that id prefare to use.a freind installs everything i use because i cant get my head around all the computer stuff,but i dont want to anoy him over xmas,i tried mapping it myself but to no avail.is there somthing i can download to help me out???id appreciate your help.eu4ric;]
This is the origjnal .tsi from my Mixtrack CD, it’s for traktor pro. Please import it via the Midi config tab Edit->Import, since it is for mixtrack only, so I can’t really help you with the integrated sound interface, just the controller. Hope it helps. Merry Xmas

thanx for the file brother,unfortunatly,it dosnt work,the jog wheels where triggering the play buttons etc,it was just all messed up.thanx for your time though,looks like its ebay for the controller as i refuse to use vdj,its beyond pathetic..if any1 else can help me out,please email me.many thanx..
I don’t think it would be too hard to map it yourself… Just the LED’s might be a bit of a challenge.
Delete the mapping of the previous controller you had. I had a X-Session Pro before the mixtrack, the mapping was still in traktor when I got the mixtrack and had some similar issues.
its so easy to map traktor whith any midi or buttons at the controller manager , ask me about any especiffic

What’s up…I’m a veteran when it comes to vinyl but an ABSOLUTE INFANT when it comes to this digital stuff, mostly the mapping aspect. I have traktor scratch 2 and I also have a mixtrack pro and nanopad. The mixtrack is somewhat mapped with the settings that come with traktor, but they SUCK royally! Can you help me map either controller/midi? I’ve read all kinds of stuff on the internet and nothing really helps. I’ve followed the instructions but neither controller/midi responds to what I ATTEMPT to map. Any assistance provided will be appreciated.

Can anyone please help me out. i want to use traktor scratch pro but every mapping i find is way to complicated for this newbie here. All i want is all the buttons to work exactly how their intended on this controller, effects to activate effects, play/pause to play/pause, not that crazy stuff like effect activates something else, i just want a plain mapping if anyone can help please do i would appreciate it greatly. have a good day everyone.
load the provided tsi that ships with mixtrack (traktor le) traktor 2 is and can be overwhelming at first …baby steps my man. stick with the basics at first, patience is a virtue here. Everybody cant be David Guetta overnight ha ha ha ha ha ha ha jk
