Mixtrack - Traktor Pro 2 mapping

Can anyone help?
I have just moved over to Traktor from M-Audio’s Torq/Xponent. I now use the midi control Numark Mixtrack with Traktor Pro 2. The only problem with this is that it is supposed to be mapped already (that is the reason why I purchased this model) but the effects section on deck B of the Mixtrack does not work (as if they are not mapped) has anyone else come across this problem and is there a fix? Or should I go back to NI?

It does Work!

Well its just that you have not turned on the deck 2 effects section ON.

On the left side near the wavefrom click on the number 2 so it becomes orange, that means its on, see the attached image.

Now your effects will work!

Congratulations on getting Numark Mixtrack, its an awesome product.

…but I’m pretty sure I did that. It’s the buttons on the Numark that don’t seem to do any thing. They don’t light up when I press them or activate anything on the screen, can’t work it out.:disappointed:

have you gone through the setup wizard

Have you configured your mixtrack with traktor! Please go through the steps mentioned at Ean Golden’s NI S2 tricks applied onto Numark Mixtrack – Part 1 and let me know if still doesn’t work for you…
