Mono or Stereo Headphone Output

Is the headphone output on the front of the kontrol s4 mono or stereo?

You can set it to mono if you need to via software (if your can’s don’t have a mono switch)

Any suggestions as to why sound only comes out of one side of the headphones when plugged into the front socket apart from a faulty jack?

Good question. I had the same happen at my gig on friday, but it fixed it self within 10mins :confused:

try tightening the headphone jack (use your hand, don’t use any tools). Have you tried other headphones and the problem persists?. Check that your audio settings are Monitor: 3/4.

If it was effectively a mono signal, you would get the same audio feed for both channels, not just 1 working can.
