I was watching it live on Friday night on Ustream.

It was really cool, a few commercial tracks, but otherwise very good.

Also noticed him using the A&H 4D, not sure which software he was using though. I also dig the decal on his MBP.

I know his remix of boy work comes out on the 30th

The only track i’m almost desperate for is the one with the hook from “The Outfield’s” Track “Your Love”.

It was ok, not really super impressed with the mixing or maybe it’s just not my style (on the other hand there are some people who can make me really like progressive and commercial house with their mixing ability) but he gets points for the 4D.

It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t anything super impressive that I would wow over and I wouldn’t second guess if you told me anyone on this forum did it.

Totally get you…

Yes it was BASIC… very.
But i think with the style of tracks he’s spinning, and if you think of it as a main room set… the energy of the overall mix was incredible to me.
His track selection was well thought out… sounded like one hell of a night (in my head lol)
Also he did a couple of live remixes, great choice and use of acapellas and awesome use of fx to create basic but dramatic build ups.
The way everything just fit together was perfect i think.

Don’t suppose there is a download link for this? Couldn’t find one and it’d make my trip to uni (and my first two lectures) so much more enjoyable!

You can walk into any regular club night across the globe and hear comparable sets, it just wasn’t impressive from a big name and I don’t understand what about it impresses people in this thread.
