Z2 internal control

Hi brocklambert…i am planning to buy a Z2 for my CDJ-2000´s, when the CDJ´s are in HID-mode for Traktor Pro 2,6 can ju still use the Z2 as an internal mixer so the faders and eq and so on controls inside the software?

I’m also interested how well this setup works, as in what functions work on the CDJs that work together with traktor? Do you use them in Midimode (that even posssible?) or how well does the LCD play into the work flow along with the rest of the buttons like looping in such on the actual CDJs. Thanks!

The CDJs are in HID mode. Almost all of the CDJ functions work as normal through Traktor.

Z2 + CDJ´s in HID

Hi and thanks for you answer I have been using CDJ 2000 in HID-mode with Traktor and it works great, but that was with an analog mixer and CDJ´s as an aggregated soundcard.

Now I want to use the Z2 as an midicontoler, so that the faders and EQ control on the Z2 runs Traktor internaly .

Is that possible or will it confict?
